A Canthal Tilt Surgery, also referred to as a Cat Eye Surgery, is a cosmetic surgery that focuses on elevating the outer corners of the eyes. The goal is to make the eyes look more catlike, giving the overall face a more youthful look. In fact, the purpose is to give the eye an almond shape and to make the outer corner of the eye higher than the inner one. This gives the eye a slanted look.
To achieve this, the surgeon uses the Canthopexy technique, in which the surgeon tightens the outer corners of the eyes using sutures.
